Plot[]
Tired of tree roots, Fitzhugh goes looking for food with Barry tagging along. As they head past a house, a housewife accidentally loses a cookie meant for The Night Of Thrombeldinar out of the window. Fitzhugh steals it, but he is captured by Garna and Tobek, two giant orphan children convinced that he is the real Thrombeldinbar. When Steve and Mark try to rescue him, he stays behind after taking a shine to the boys and feeling remorseful after getting them in trouble with their protector, Mr. Parteg. However, the boys decide to escape and encounter Okun, a shifty organ grinder who steals Fitzhugh from them for a reward and gives them a bag with a rock. To save Fitzhugh, Mark and Steve turn to Mr. Partek to save the boys, giving them time to save Fitzhugh. In the aftermath, Partek is sorry for being cruel to the boys and promises to be better to them.
