The Weird World is the 11th episode in the series. It aired December 22, 1968.
Plot[]
Steve discovers a miniaturized tape recorder that leads to a crazed human astronaut named Major Kagen, who thinks they are spies for the giants. After they convince him they are on his side, he informs them that his spaceship had landed intact but ended up in the custody of the giants in a research center. Steve, Dan and Mark then form a plan to recover it to get them all home.

- Production-wise, this was supposed to be the second episode aired, but it aired later in the schedule. This is quite noticeable considering Fitzhugh's personality shifts back to his post-pilot personality.
- This was the Earth people's first encounter with another traveler from Earth.
- This episode uses the same giant sets from The Crash.
- Kagan's ship is the same space craft used in the episode "Welcome, Stranger" from "Lost in Space."
